As indicated by the words "SCIENTIFIC SHOE FITTING" inscribed on the insole, it features an asymmetric inside-straight, outside-curved shape unique to orthopedic shoes.

The arch holds the foot, while the extra room in the toe area creates a stress-free fit.

Since these shoes have extra room in the toe, the ideal fit is one where nothing touches your toes.Please choose a size that feels roomier at the toes than the shoes you usually wear, while still providing arch support.

The vulcanized construction, which is rarely used nowadays, does not sew the sneaker's canvas upper to the rubber sole, but instead bonds them together to achieve a softer, more barefoot-like fit.

【FITTING】Regarding the measurement method using the Measurement Sheet

As we consider fitting to be of the utmost importance, please measure using the method below.

1. Print the paper Measurement Sheet.

※To ensure accurate measurements, please print it on A4-sized paper without resizing.

2. Fold the paper Measurement Sheet along the guide line.

3. Place a box-shaped object (books or magazines stacked together can be used as a substitute) against a wall, and align the folded side of the measurement sheet with it, then secure it to the floor with tape.

4. Align your heel with the guide line, and if it is your left foot, align the inside of your left foot along the vertical guide line.

※At this time, keep your feet together, stand naturally, and look straight down.

Please mark the point where the longest part of your foot is indicated with a pen. That will be your foot length.

※Please note that leaning too far forward or putting your weight too far back may cause you to choose the wrong size.

5. Measure the other foot in the same way.

※Since most people have a difference between their left and right feet, please measure both feet and choose the size of the longer one. If you are unsure about your foot width or instep height, please take a photo and contact the store. Depending on your foot width and instep, we may recommend adjusting the size by half a size up or down from the size indicated by your foot length.
