The product name SAMUEL is named after Samuel Augustus Maverick, a 19th-century Texas pioneer and politician.

Samuel Augustus Maverick became a rancher of vast lands, and because he did not brand the cattle he owned, other ranchers began calling cattle without brands "Maverick's cattle." This eventually gave rise to the word Maverick, meaning "a person who sticks to their own way" or "a maverick."

Features a Western yoke and front pockets with snap buttons.
